Yesterday I ran a group of really neat old ads from the official program of the 1964 New York International Auto Show. That was the first of many items you’ll see on the BangShift blog of these ads. I plan on mixing up each load of them with both domestic and foreign cars. There were some really weird little imported cars on sale in the US during the mid 1960s. They either didn’t sell in much volume or simply fell apart and rotted away over the last 50 years because I cannot tell you that I have ever seen a 1964 Datsun truck, Simca sedan, or MG sedan of any shape or size on the roads of this country.
