This time of the year is an interesting one in the aftermarket. Companies are getting their stuff together for the upcoming fall where they will debut parts at shows like SEMA and PRI but there is always some new stuff that leaks out over the summertime and Holley, Blackheart, and Weiand have dropped some killer new stuff on the market like right now. We’re taking carbs, exhaust, and oil pans for three very distinct markets.

On the carb side, Holley has released Ultra XP and Gen 3 Ultra Dominators that are designed to handle alcohol like bosses. So many guys are running methanol these days it only made sense for the company to come out with some specifically prepared units for those racers. On the Blackheart exhaust side, those guys have released exhaust systems for EcoBoost Mustangs and V6 Camaros. Before you laugh, bot h of those engine packages would wipe the floor with most classic muscle cars even though they don’t sound the same and lack cylinders in comparison.

For Weiand, they are getting back in the fabricated oil pan game. The line is focused on small block Chevrolet engines to start and will grow from there. Options are numerous on sump placement, capacity, baffling, and all of the other good stuff you would want to be concerned with in a good pan. Weiand is one of the most trusted brands in the aftermarket universe so we know this stuff will be good.
