While Bello’s builds what are usually traditional customs, at least from a visual standpoint, they do tend to LS swap things a lot because they are all about driving them. Every hot rod that comes out of Bellos is designed to be driven to and from shows and events and to enjoy it. And who wouldn’t want to enjoy some time driving a 1950 Merc? This one here is getting an LS3 swapped into it and as usual we’ll see a simple, clean, and effective install from Bello himself.
This is the kind of install that will be reliable and easy to maintain because on a car like this you don’t want to have to work on it anymore than you have to. I love their builds, their style, and their methods and I’m sure you will too. While they aren’t opposed to using kit parts or swap parts from the aftermarket, they are usually doing these swaps on something that will require custom parts. While they could get some universal swap parts, and then modify them to work, there are lots of times when they just design and cut their own parts using the CNC plasma table.
