It’s kind of nice when you have a collection of Chevrolet trucks and SUVs that are sitting with their LS engines and transmissions just waiting to become donors for other projects, and that is exactly what Brent has got going on at Halfass Kustoms. In this video he’s got a buddy with a 1974 Chevy C10 that he wants to LS swap and convert to a modern stick shift as well. So Brent is handling the swap, and that means the first job is to find the right donor from behind the barn. After choosing one and making sure it doesn’t have issues, the engine is pulled and prepped, a cam swap is done thanks to some parts from BTR, and then it’s time to get planning for the engine install itself.
