Mortske is back at it! This time he’s taking a 6 cylinder square body and doing a swap, but it isn’t getting an LS! It’s been a running and driving truck like lots of folks have, but the V6 is done and it is time for a V8. It’s the cheap way to go, doesn’t require a bunch of custom parts or swap kits, and bolts in like factory. Because this truck had a 4.3 V6 in it, it is probably one of the easiest small block swaps on the planet!
But there will be some performance parts involved, don’t you worry!
Video Description:
Casper, our 1986 Chevrolet C10 Shortbed squarebody, is having some issues with his 4.3L V6 as it’s just plain worn out. So it’s time to upgrade for a Goodwrench 350 engine that we’ve had kicking around the shop for a couple years. Follow along as we show you how we converted our original 6 cylinder truck to an 8 cylinder. This one currently isn’t for sale. As always, thanks for watching!
