We caught some pulling action on TV recently and went into fantasy mode searching for something to jump into competition with. Us being us, we didn’t want some typical late-model truck. We found a super unique 1964 Dodge W300 truck that has a 702ci Hemi based on a Keith Black Stage 7 block. Ooga Booga!
The seller lists a “military front axle” and a Rockwell rear. We’re not sure what the “military” front axle is, but we’re guessing it isn’t a 10-bolt. Perhaps due to the rules or just the builder’s preference, it looks like this truck is based off of the stock Dodge frame.
The flip up body is cool, the fact that the motor is a vertically stacked, injected. MSD Pro-Mag’d, Brad Anderson headed, 700 ci, Earth shaking Hemi is what set the deal for us.
The seller is looking for 27K for the whole rig, which we think is a pretty good deal for a turn key truck that you could jump right out into the fray with. The thought of hammering on that motor with the big sled lugging the truck down causes a blood flow reversion from our brain.
