The RideTech Crew Is EVERYWHERE This Weekend! See Them At Camaro5 Fest V, And The Midwest Muscle Car Challenge

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, the companies that deserve your consideration when shoppng for go fast parts are the ones that share your interests and are out there beating on their cars like you are. As you all know, RideTech is one of those companies and the fact that they have people providing tech support and hammering on their cars at events spread out from Texas to Indiana is a cool testament to their commitment of getting out on the road and mixing it up with their customers.

The other cool thing that has recently happened is rooted in RideTech’s long history of using the autocross style of racing as part of the platform to hone their new parts. A pair of talented drivers with RideTech equipped cars were officially bumped into the Goodguy’s “Pro” Autocross class after they wheeled their cars to wins in the Street Machine and Hot Rod classes respectively. Considering that one of the cars is a 1958 Buick, that’s testament enough to the functionality of the RideTech suspension components.

So if you want to hang out with the RideTech squad you can stop by the Camaro5 Fest at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas this weekend or you can head to Indiana and watch or participate in the Midwest Muscle Car Challenge, which is a multi-faceted event that includes hot laps on a bendy course and then an afternoon cruise. The next day it will be full-on autocross war! This event will be drawing some great cars so check it out!

CAMARO5 FEST V
Kyle and Prouty will be back in Texas this weekend for the 5th Annual Camaro5 Fest. The Camaro only event takes place at the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, TX. The event has drag racing, CamaroCross (autocross), detailing seminars, and an after hours Street Meet. Last year’s event had over 1,000 2010 and newer Camaros on hand and we’re sure this year should be even bigger. If you’re at the event be sure to stop by the booth and check out our latest in 5th Gen Camaro products! (EVENT INFO)
RIFE & HOLDREN TO PRO CLASS
Last weekend two more RideTech equipped hotrods made the jump into the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Autocross Pro Class. Todd Holdren topped the hot rod class in his LS powered 58 Buick Special. The crowd was in awe watching the beautiful boat navigate the course. Todd’s best time was a full 5.5 seconds faster than the rest of his class. In the Street Machine class, competition was tight all weekend. That was until Mark Rife laid down his fast time putting him a full second and a half faster than 2nd place. Mark’s 63 Corvette has been running our TQ Coil-Overs for close to three years and will be a welcomed competitor into the pro class. It was another great weekend for all theRideTech Nation!  (KISSIMMEE GALLERY)
MIDWEST MUSCLE CAR CHALLENGE 2014
It’s not to often that the RideTech crew is able to hit a racing event within a few hours of the shop. We can actually count the number of times it happens every year on one hand. One of the few events happens to be the Midwest Muscle Car Challenge presented byBowler Transmission and Royal Purple. The event kicks off this Friday morning on the road course atPutnam Park (one of our favorite tracks). The ForgelineHot Lap Challenge will run from 9AM to 4PM with a break for lunch. After the days track time is up you can wind down with the Centerforce Cruise to a local hang out in Mooresville, IN.  Saturday morning the Orange Cone Racing Autocross Challenge will take over the Terre Haute International Airport from 9AM to 4PM. Finishing it off with a 5pm awards ceremony should allow all the RideTech guys to be back home by 8. See you there!  (EVENT INFO)
