Awesome Video: An In-Depth Look at RideTech and “Why Shocks Matter”

This video from RideTech is pretty damned cool for a number of reasons. The first is that it is filmed in a killer documentary style that we really like, the second is that it is chock full of really good information from the company about their products and about their history, and third because it shows some gnarly hot rods getting after it while underpinned with RideTech equipment.

RideTech understands that the days of just sending out product brochures and having a static website are pretty much over. In order to reach out to the enthusiast community that they market their products to, the company needs to be on the ground with them, participating in events, looking at cars, and really acting as a part of the gearhead community at large. Bret and the boys have been at that gig for nearly longer than anyone else. We’ve watched this one a couple of times because it really is that good. Also we were trying to figure out what our favorite car or truck was profiled in the film. It is narrowed down to Jimi Day’s AMX-cess and the blue second generation Pontiac Firebird that we’ll see in our dreams tonight.

RideTech (then called Air Ride Technologies) started in Bret Voelkel’s garage and he tells some candid and neat storied about those days in this video.  RideTech has been with BangShift since the very beginning and we cannot thank them enough for the support that they have shown us. The company continues to be a leader in the suspension category and Bret still has his brain working a million miles an hour on new ideas and concepts. What’s cooler than that?!
