Burnout Insanity: Watch Aussie Steve Nogas’s 632ci, 16-71 Blown Fifth Gen “Killer-B” Camaro Fog Bank The Entire Country Of Australia

There are Aussie burnout machines and then there’s this crazy 5th  gen Camaro that is owned by Steve Nogas. The car is absolutely wild with a 632ci big block Chevy engine topped with a Littlefield 16-71 blower. In typical Aussie fashion, this thing is meant to make smoke, and lots of it. Nogas actually bought the car at an auction here in the USA and had it shipped back over the Australia where it was converted to right hand drive and then modified by Nogas and his family. We cannot imagine how much the steamroller rear tires cost as they are on 24-inch rims and are wider than stuff we see on most pro street cars. It is pretty neat that he actually did the RHD conversion as it truly gives the machine an Aussie feel.

The car is called the Killer-B as a bit of a play on the Camaro “Bumblebee” that most people know from the Transformers movie. The flat black paint with yellow accents really look good and while we’re not normally fans of the giant diameter wheels, the guys did a good job slamming the car down on top of them, especially with their massive width. Something about the fact that this car actually makes smoke out of those huge tires is satisfying as well. Nogas estimates horsepower to be in the 17-1800 range and he claims that the car will use 80-100 liters (about 27 gallons) of fuel per burnout exhibition. He has no plans to drag race the car and while that may seem lame, what’s the point? It isn’t like there would be an iota of traction available.

As usual, we’re always amazed when we see these big motors winging for minutes on end with virtually no load on them and nothing bad seems to happen. Then again, we have seen out fair share of these cars literally melt themselves into molten puddles on the “power skid” pad at events like this one. Either way, we certainly want to try it! The car is awesome looking with all that motor and blower hanging out of it and when you see it go to work, you’ll be smiling like we were. This is just an incredible amount of smoke, so much so that we wonder if any astronauts saw the cloud from space!

Weeeeelll, much as I admire Larson and co.,(especially Doc Mac-SEERED), for their achievements in Drag Week, I really think us Aussies are a grade above when it comes to this type of Automotive entertainment.
PS Brian ,you gotta come down here and do some events,Speak to Gup, come Powercruisin’ dude.

What a monumental waste of money. People are free to do what they want, but all that horsepower and all that cash just to be able to destroy tires quicker than the next guy?

The way things are going people are going to start calling drifting a sport, too.
