Cool Down And Be Quiet: Finnegan Gives The Ramp Truck New Carpet, Insulation And Sound Deadening!

Cool Down And Be Quiet: Finnegan Gives The Ramp Truck New Carpet, Insulation And Sound Deadening!

What is worse, in your mind: dingy, decades-old carpeting that his hiding who-knows-what, or 130-plus degree interior temperatures? Maybe there’s way too much road noise coming through the floorboards…not the good noise coming from the pipes, but the sound of the tires howling along or every little last possible stone bouncing off of the underside? The Roadkill Ramp Truck had all of that going on: floors set to “roast”, plenty of noise and rugs that you wouldn’t want to touch with your bare hands if you didn’t have to. In this episode of Finnegan’s Garage, Mike removes the dingy old carpet and gets to work on making the Ramp Truck a bit more livable on the inside. With new carpeting, sound deadener and heat insulation, plus heavy-duty floor mats, the big Chevy can move up in the world. Hopefully next he tackles the rear seat with the potentially horrifying stab wound in it…

I have never seen Finnegan do anything with any degree of craftsmanship . Not even something that I would consider half-assed . I have no mechanical ability and I can do as well as he . Way to go Finnegan , keep lowering the bar .

A lot of talking and not a lot of working . I can do that . He can’t wash the truck because the door seals are gone . PUT IN NEW DOOR SEALS c’MON
