Called the Grand Carnival elsewhere in the world…okaaay….the Sedona is one of the best vehicles you can pick for “appliance automobile” out there. Honest truth: if your children are little french fry throwing hellions with sticky hands and a propensity to wreak havoc, the Sedona is for you. Buy the cheap one and throw it away when the purple Kool-Aid spill starts to grow a new species of fungus. Otherwise, walk straight on past it and go find something used and pre-beaten.

However, this is a Kia ad that we can get behind, simply because the premise makes us happy: this silver Grand Carnival is about to get dropped from 41 feet directly onto it’s protruding snout. No catch wires, no slowdown. Just drop that silver mom-mobile directly into the dirt. There’s a very satisfying impact noise, the sounds of broken headlight glass, and then something about the high-strength steel body cage….eh, whatever. We just want to see the Kia slam the dirt a few dozen times. And if it’s done in the name of safety, we can even justify this wanton carnage as useful research.
