Overkill: Twin LS4s Crammed Into An Acura RSX Should Be Fun!

What makes an ordinary, sane individual look at the project car they have going and mutter to themselves, “You know what? I know what this thing needs…another freaking engine. Yeah, buddy, that’ll be the icing on the cake.” Who does that?! Who honestly thinks that the only way their car can be exactly what they want it to be is to jam a second engine in the back and hope for the best? The truly committed, that’s who. The one who doesn’t give a rat’s backside if the build is correct. They don’t care who they piss off. They don’t care that it’s not the “right” way to do it. We love those types because they will go all out for the ultimate prize.

Case in point: an Acura RSX. Essentially the Integra with a name change because Honda didn’t want the model to be more important than the brand, the RSX was the carry-on to a name that held weight in the front-drive world. What would a proper build be? A built K20A, the six-speed manual trans, and maybe a turbocharger. What is this build? None of that. Instead, twin LS4s like you’d find in a mid-2000s Chevrolet Impala SS are fitted in, and the builder is looking at turbocharging both engines too. One stock LS4 is enough to make a Monte Carlo into a tire-fryer…I know, I owned one. Two boosted engines in an Acura? If that thing doesn’t automatically go into four-wheel donuts like it’s Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride I’ll be so disappointed…

I’m surprised this hasn’t had Chevy Hating Mad Geordie go through the ceiling yet. After all, it has twice as much LS swap for him to hate as your average LS swap project.

Dear God! I thought getting my CB750’s carbs in tune with each other was a bitch. That is gonna be completely ridiculous! My hat’s off to the fella for sure!
