Jim Warter has some awesome videos of his Competition Eliminator Camaro on the interwebs. We think the best one is this clip that shows the car catching fire early in the run, but still sprinting to the finish line while bouncing the tach needle off the 10k shift points! This man is focused on one thing, and it ain’t the fire.  

Pay close attention to the area in front of the shifter when Warter launches off. It looks like the firebox from a coal fed locomotive! We don’t know what was on fire or why, but Warter either didn’t notice or didn’t care and kept the hammer on the carpet as he sprinted down the track. At the end of the video you’ll see him recognize that fuego is in the house and he needs to leave in a hurry!
