This Seattle Scrap Yard Painted Their Shear and Grapple Up Like A Seahawk And Used It To Eat A Bronco

This Seattle Scrap Yard Painted Their Shear and Grapple Up Like A Seahawk And Used It To Eat A Bronco

This weekend there will be a gigantic football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. Technically we’re not allowed to use the specific title of the game or the NFL can sue the pants off of us. A scrap yard in Seattle got creative and decided to support their team in one of the funniest and most destructive ways possible. They painted up a Ford Bronco to look like a Denver Broncos helmet and then they went to town and painted the Seahawk head on the shear attachment on an excavator and they painted up a grapple on another machine to look like a claw. Both implements then go on to completely and utterly destroy the Bronco.

Yeah, we know. You can’t watch a vehicle get destroyed but c’amon, folks. This isn’t the Viper showed getting mangled at an unknown junkyard a couple weeks ago, it is a  1980s spec Bronco that someone turned in to get scrapped anyway, so death was imminent. Why not have a little fun, right? Like with the Viper video, watching the power that these hydraulic implements have is amazing. They make VERY short work of the Ford.

Setting your attachment level to 1980s Ford Broncos aside, you have to admit that it was a pretty crafty idea to paint this stuff up and have some fun with the teams in the “big game” this Sunday. The people in Denver were going to come up with something cool but they got stoned and are eating Cheetos now. Cooooooolllll  Maaaaaannnnnnnn!

I don’t really care who wins the game, but that was awesome! Great find!

BTW, I went and watched the Viper video, too. That was NOT awesome. Well, it was, but not in a good way.

I love Football, and if they used a piece of scrap that would have been funny, but that was a very useable Bronco what a waste of a decent truck.
