There’s only one thing better than video of a huge wheelstand and that’s video of a huge wheelstand that ends with the driver legging out a quick pass on top of it. That’s what happened in this video BangShifter Tim Gilbreth tipped us off to. Shot back in 2007 at Irwindale Raceway in California, the film shows racer Dennis Wile launching his truly bad ass and street legal 1932 Ford coupe. The video first uses a sequence of still photos to show the major league ‘stand and then goes into the actual “moving pictures” portion of the program.

Despite the wheelie, the hot rod manages a 6.04/111mph lap down the eighth mile. That means this car is capable of running well into the 5s when it isn’t trying to act like an airplane. With its understated looks, that is badder asser! This is one heck of a hot rod sleeper. It looks like a typical ZZ4 equipped cruiser but it isn’t!

I watched this and wondered what Old Henry Ford would think of this. I love the way it looks so stock.
