Watch An Old Minneapolis Moline Pulling Tractor Launch Parts And Completely Puke Its Guts Out During A Pull!

When the announcer has to start asking if anyone in the crowd was hit by “shrapnel” from an exploding engine at a tractor pull you know it is a good one. While this engine failure lacks in spectacular fireballs, big time noise, or overt violence, it is amazing destruction nonetheless. As you will see, a huge section of the side of the block had to have been blown out as one of the sheet metal side covers was punctured by something large enough to rip a massive hole through it. When you see the side of the tractor, realize that you are not looking at the block but rather a cover. We’re not sure if guys use those to hide modifications or what, but the one on this MM is no good anymore, like the engine.

This is an old school style pull, no roll bars, helmets or any other driver protection. The guy piloting this machine has such a good view of the whole mess you can literally watch his head move from side to side watching piece of his tractor fly off into the wild blue yonder…errr..towards the crowd and race officials. The best part of the whole thing is when the machine is literally grinding to a halt you can see the that the entire contents of the oil pan are blown downward and the gallons of oil that resided in it are now spread across the track along with a BUNCH of very hot parts from the reciprocating assembly. We’re pretty sure that the big piece you see fly to the left in the video is a giant chunk of cast iron from the block. The tractor driver “Allen” seems to see it, but keeps the hammer down anyway. We like this man’s will to win at all costs.
