As the gearhead world gets ready to lock their eyes onto all of the action at Hot Rod Magazine’s Drag Week event, which kicks off in about a week and a half, video of driving a heavy duty drag car on the street seems appropriate to share today. We were tipped off to this cool clip by one of our nearly 30,000 Facebook followers and it shows Andy Frost at the helm of the Red Victor 3, the world’s quickest street legal car. He has been into the 6.50s at over 220mph in the very car you’ll see him wheeling around tight English roads as part of a cruise to the headquarters of McLaren.

Some people take umbridge at Frost’s street car claims for the RV3 but this video is proof that it’ll roll around legally on public roads without issues. The competitors in Drag Week’s unlimited class this year will be in similar cars, although they will be traveling a longer distance than Frost does on this cruise. We have lots of respect for Andy’s accomplishments in all three of his Red Victor variants and the fact that this last one is the world’s heaviest duty street weapon currently means he should have yours too.
