WTF: A 1933 Chevy Coupe Trike Thing With a 700hp Engine

WTF: A 1933 Chevy Coupe Trike Thing With a 700hp Engine

Freaking wow. Where to begin. A “700” horse power trike built from a real 1933 Chevy coupe body. Maybe we’ll start with a question. Why in the hell would anyone think this was a good idea? By all appearances, the actual passenger compartment area is standard width, allowing two people to hurtle to their deaths in relative comfort.

The seller claims that the power steering is so light that it can be operated with one finger. That is good information to have because at highway speeds, sudden changes of direction would probably result in this creation pencil rolling down the road. We can also only imagine how awesome hard braking must be in this car/trike. After all, taking away two tires in the front and replacing them with one that makes up for about 20% of the contact patch is a great idea. Think the weiner disc brake designed to stop a motorcycle is good for seriously helping haul a car down?

Then there’s the claimed 700hp “race track” engine. Well, you know what? Blood just shot out of our ears, so we’re stopping now. You can pick up the slack from here.

Thanks to Dignlif for the tip!
