In case you missed it, David Newbern got his first car back last year. He originally bought this 1964 Impala when he was 13. It still has the original 283 and Powerglide, and it’s still awesome. And now that it’s back home and running, Newbern has decided he’s taking it on Hot Rod’s Power Tour which we totally approve of. So in this video he’s getting some much needed work going on it so that it will be a nicer ride during this years Power Tour.
Suspension upgrades are in order, and a cool set of wheels and tires aren’t bad either. Check it out.

On this episode my good friend Mike Howe gives me a hand and we upgrade the suspension on my 1964 impala. My dad help me get this car when I was just 13 years old. It has 55k original miles on the 283 and powerglide combo. We plan on taking this car on Hot Rod Power Tour 2024.
