Carnage Video: A Huge Mud Truck Fails Badly at a Hill and Hole Event

While we’ve never attended a “hill and hole” mud race, we’ve watched endless videos of them and revel in the mechanically diabolical competition. If you have never heard of this type of racing, the concept is simple. You have a course filled with deep mud holes that are separated by big dirt berms (hills). Huge trucks literally fly during these races as they launch off the berms at full throttle. These are trucks that have more weight in wheels and tires than the average Honda does in the entire vehicle!

Seeing trucks that weight more than 10,000lbs hurl through the air and land without a hiccup is impressive, but seeing one do it and land with a catastrohpic failure of the highest order is pure entertainment. This video seems to be another that highlights the difference between good welding and fabrication and great welding and fabrication.

Tighten your belts and press play!
