Amazing: Vintage Trans Am And Road Racing Pony Cars From The 3Dog Garage Collection!

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Our roving photographic rogue agent Joe Grippo is back with another bitchin’ photo gallery. Joe recently went on a tour of Ross Meyer’s incredible 3 Dog Garage in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, home to one of the most astounding collection of Fords in the world. It includes hot rods, race cars, and the 2007 Ridler Award winning “First Love” 1936 Ford.

One of the best parts of the collection are the 1960s Trans Am Mustang, Mercury Cougars, and the 1980′s IMSA GT Mustangs. When we were just little rug rat BangShifters we delighted in watching guys like Jack Baldwin, Scott Pruett, Wally Dallenbach, and Pete Halsmer wrangle Mustangs and Camaros with huge fenders and wild body work around the road courses of America.

We’re doling these photos out in a couple different galleries. You’d pass out from an overdose of awesome if we dropped them all on you at once!

Like I was telling Brian, my knees got a little weak when I walked into the main room. The 3DOG guys were very acomodating with our millions of questions and offered great stories and insights about all the killer stuff in the collection. Major thanks to Ross and his guys for the opportunity to check it all out. Sorry for all the drool puddles.
