Hiding a Dry Sump Tank in My Hemi-Swapped ’55 Chevy Gasser: Can You Find Where Finnegan Put This Thing? Or Is He As Sneaky As He Thinks?

Sometimes building horsepower isn’t as hard as packaging everything into an engine compartment that is needed to make that power. I think that the crazier you get the more you just assume that you’ll have to stack stuff up like fire wood under the hood, but with a couple of smart measurements and a little bit of out of the box thinking, you can get a lot more stuff to fit than you might think. Finnegan needed to fit a new dry sump tank into the engine compartment but got his creative mind working and figured out a way to make everything come together.

Video Description:

This time on Finnegan’s Garage we are working the oiling system of my 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 528ci Hemi is missing but that doesn’t mean that we can’t fabricate a custom mount for a used Moroso dry sump oil tank. We decided to hide it behind the passenger side headlight and use the existing radiator mount for the base. Lemme know what you think about this idea and if you’d like more information on the Moroso oil tank, go here: https://www.moroso.com/dry-sump-tank-…

Bonus video! Friday night mail haul and more.
