Flying Sparks Forgotten Classic Car, MG Midget Interior Transformation!

Flying Sparks Forgotten Classic Car, MG Midget Interior Transformation!

It is so satisfying to take a car that has been sitting, putting some time and energy into it, and then bringing it back to life after being forgotten. Getting it running, driving it around, enjoying it just being a car again can be so much fun. But pretty soon the fun wears off when you are getting stabbed in the butt by springs, the door panels are falling off, and inside just doesn’t reflect the fun of the outside and the way you feel driving it. I’ve owned several cars that fit this bill and sometimes they are fun but sometimes it kinda sucks.

In this episode from Flying Sparks, Emily is going about doing an interior makeover on the MG Midget that they brought back to life recently. It’s a tiny car, with a simple interior, so it shouldn’t be too tough. And thankfully her and Aaron are going to do it right since it is so small, including a full cleanup and repaint of the seat frames, etc. Check it out, you’ll dig it.

I … uhh … she taped up a gaping rust hole in the floorboard under the dead pedal.

Well okay then. I feel less bad about filling in a few small floor pinholes on my TR6 with epoxy, I guess.
