Gallery: The 52nd Carl Casper Custom Car Show – Louisville, Kentucky

(Photos by Doug Gregory) – A couple weeks back, the 52nd annual Carl Casper Custom Car Show took place and this year was a biggie because the Casper show was teamed up with the Louisville Auto Show so attendees got the best of both worlds in being able to see new cars and also hang out with some of the coolest, most off the wall, and down right neat hot rods, trucks, and customs as well. This gallery of photos was blasted by new BangShift contributor Doug Gregory and we’ll be running more of his photos from the event in a couple days after March Meet insanity subsides.

This gallery has lots of muscle, a bunch of race cars, some absolutely drop dead street machines, the huge International Scout monster truck below and a whole lot more. Louisville, Kentucky has a lot of hot rodding passion and we’re actually going to be in Louisville in a couple weeks for the giant Mid-America Trucking Show to bring you all the cool news and sights from that extravaganza, but back to the Casper show. This thing has been going strong for 52 years and it looks like the future is bright for this gathering of sweet iron in Kentucky. Thanks to Dave Gregory for the photos and we look forward to his future submissions

I took over 400 pictures and submitted over 250. Its understandable that all of them didn’t make the cut. Though smaller than last year’s show, I thought the quality of the cars overall was up and I really didn’t see many repeats from 2013. 7 hours of walking and gawking and I’m sure there were things we missed.
