The Walk of Fame: Feats Of Human Strength At The Pick A Part’s $59.99 Carry Out Day

It is one of the enduring promotions that wrecking yards across the country run from time to time. “Everything you can carry out for $59.99.” This video is awesome proof of the lengths people will go, specifically hot rodders, to save money and get a deal. You’ll see people lugging everything from tires to axles to complete engines across the line at this Denver salvage yard.

In today’s “I’m suing your ass off” world we’re not sure how many places still do something that could cause people to blow their backs, knees, appendixes, and eyeballs out but we love watching it and we love how creative people get to finish the job properly. From the guy with what looked to be four Miata differentials hanging off of him to the kid trying to get a whole VW engine strapped to a seat on his back, this is awesome x1000.

We used to have a yard by BS Eastern world HQ that had menu pricing. A cylinder head was X amount no matter what it was from, etc. That was a place we would regularly hop into to see if we could score stuff to then flip on Craigslist. We couldn’t have been the only ones because the policy went away not to long after it started.

Anyway, dig these people and their stupid human tricks trying to save cash and lug parts!

Best part is that they have a bunch of spectators cheering.

I wonder if it’s double the price for a lot that two people are able to carry out, or how that works.

Yeah, and ask them to pick up a box of tissues at work and the reply is, I can’t do that I’ll hurt myself.
