We’re pretty proud of the job Chad did at Bonneville last week. We’d even go as far as to say we had the best freaking coverage anywhere on the internet. Plainly put, Chad rocked it hard all week long. Meanwhile, Jalopnik had Ben Wojyda on the salt providing photos and updates all week. He ran a great piece on his experience and his take on why “Bonneville is important.” We think he nailed it.

If there is a more appropriate place to wax poetic about hot rodding, invention, the human spirit, or the need for speed than Bonneville, please point us to that place. For the time being, the salt is it and Ben does a nice job of explaining why.
