Aeromotive’s New Dual Phantom Setup Supports Up To 2,000 HP IN A STOCK TANK!

Aeromotive’s New Dual Phantom Setup Supports Up To 2,000 HP IN A STOCK TANK!

We’ve been telling you about the awesome Aeromotive Phantom fuel system for ages now but the Aeromotive crew dropped some new knowledge on the world at SEMA a few weeks ago with the debut of their Dual Phantom system which has the ability to support upwards of 2,000hp while using a stock style gas tank. This is accomplished by combining the power of two 340lph fuel pumps in a unique hanger design that uses foam and a bladder to keep the pumps submerged in fuel even when the gas gauge is reading low. The install of this system is remarkably easy, it will fit in virtually every OEM fuel tank you can think of and if you have a serious street car that is making big suds, there’s no better way to feed the fire than this!

HERE’S THE FULL STORY ON THE DUAL PHANTOM STRAIGHT FROM AEROMOTIVE –

Dual Phantom Stealth Fuel System

Today’s aftermarket world makes it easy to pick up the phone and order 1000 HP for your street car. This has created several challenges for fuel delivery, ranging from hot fuel handling to pump noise. Aeromotive has accepted this challenge and hurdles past them with the latest addition to the Phantom line: the Dual Phantom. The Dual Phantom comes loaded with two 340lph pumps, an additional set of electrical bulkheads, and a larger capacity foam and bladder. Remarkably, it does not take up any additional space. The dual pumps provide opportunity for supporting big power (see power ratings below) while remaining OE quiet. Separate electrical bulkheads allow for an “on demand” fuel system, which reduces the amount of returned fuel and reduces the tank temperature, making vapor lock and cavitation a thing of the past. Also, this feature is a must when a redundant (back up) pump is needed in extreme conditions, such as off-road, desert, and endurance racing. The larger capacity foam and bladder combat fuel slosh while retaining enough fuel to feed the dual pumps. And the best feature is all of this done from your stock tank with no welding or fabrication!

More about the Phantom Are you considering a switch to EFI or swapping in that late model motor? What has become the latest trend in hot rodding has been plagued by fuel delivery. The most common question is: “what do I do for a tank”? Until now, it’s been one of three options: weld in a sump to your tank, go with a fuel cell or pay for a custom tank. Aeromotive’s Phantom Fuel System gives you a fourth option: putting a high performance fuel pump inside virtually any fuel tank, including your factory tank.

Simply cut a hole in your tank and measure the depth. Cut your pump hanger bracket and baffle/basket foam to length. Insert the baffle, install the retainer ring and gasket, and bolt your pump and hanger down. That’s it. Now you have a fuel pump inside your factory tank capable of supporting big horsepower EFI or Carbureted. And it’s whisper quiet. No more welding sumps or using up trunk space with fuel cells. No more hot fuel handling issues, like vapor-lock, and no more fuel slosh. The Phantom’s internal baffle / basket controls fuel slosh and keeps the fuel pump submerged in fuel, even at low fuel levels and in aggressive driving. The best part about this whole system: it’s completely universal. This system will fit virtually any tank from 6” deep to 11” deep, plastic, steel, aluminum, corrugated or smooth. One system that gives you everything you need to fuel your ride. Its serious performance you will never know is there!

The way it’s designed you could have a switch that runs either pump, A or B side, or both. This has to be a huge advantage for a street strip vehicle.
