Asking your wife to help you install super expensive glass into a 1955 Nomad. What could possibly go wrong? I mean your average couple has a hard time hanging pictures in the living room without yelling at each other. This should be interesting.
Well, the forgotten project Nomad is moving right along! It’s been painted and now some of that paint is going away in favor of some other paint, and some oil and who knows what else to make it look all old and barn find ish. Check it out.
It started out as less car than he thought it was, but that just means the progress on this thing is sort of fluid. And so is the plan for it, which is why the thing is now a gasser! Just look at it now. In this latest build video the thing is getting cheap paint. Yes, ultra cheap paint is going onto a real Nomad. WTF? Watch.
DD Speed Shop has no shortage of project cars and somehow this one was completely forgotten. I don’t know how that’s possible, but man I’m glad they have such cool ones to remember, like this 1955 Nomad. Check it out and see what’s coming next right here!

Video Description:
We have ourselves a sealed in hot rod! Well, at the end of the video, we do….. The last bit of glass came in from Auto City Classics (great guys), and I wasted NO time getting that glass set in the car. The front windshield is such a game changer on a tri 5. I love these 5,6, and 7s, but with no glass they are just plain UGLY. With my old man out of town, I recruited Dani to help slide in the windshield. She did great! and we only had a moderate fight….. With the car weather tight, I have a whole new motivation to get the old girl road worthy.
