Jay Upton is a Top Fuel motorcycle rider down in Australia. He rides a wild 1500cc Honda machine that wears a totally streamlined body. It is one fearsome looking rig, especially when under power and shooting a jet of flame out of the up swept exhaust right behind his seat. This video shows he and the bike smashing into the wall at 193-mph. Incredibly he lived and is interviewed during the video.
This wreck happened back in 1999 and we were just recently tipped off to the video. Top Fuel bikes, be they Harleys or in-liners like the one featured are totally insane. The massive slick in the back makes them nearly impossible to guide out of an issue like Upton has in this video. Once that big tire picks a direction, you are headed there.
The video is pretty creepy, but he lived and continues racing, which seems like a total miracle to us.
