Our buddy Scott Clark, known as DieselGeek on the BangShift.com forums spends some of his free time tuning fuel injection setups on all different kinds of machinery. He’s messed around with everything from road race Porsches to the infamous “Turd” Fairmont that was equipped with a turbo LS Chevy engine. He recently posted some video of a hella bad ass LSR machine on the rollers during a tuning session. It’s must see gearhead TV.
The car sports a 930hp Ray Barton built, 498ci Hemi that’s topped with two throttle bodies that could swallow toddlers whole. The guys are getting their tuneup in order for Bonneville action this year and the 230mph range is where the car will hopefully end up.
