I almost feel bad doing this, you know? I mean Chad was the one bringing you all of these cool videos featuring a family build that saw four separate Briggs and Stratton one lunger engines mated together to create the world’s one and only Briggs and Stratton flathead inline four mill. This whole thing was done in a home shop by a couple of smart guys who challenged themselves to create something that never existed in gearhead “nature” as we know it. Like Chad said last week, this is just spectacular stuff and if you are a gearhead that loves to see people’s creativity come to life through the use of their hands, it is the best kind of magic to watch these videos.

Last week it was me who ditched the real world for a vacation with my wife and this week it is Chad’s turn so I get to steal his thunder and show you the grand finale videos of this series. The big work has all been done and what’s left is the finishing stuff and the ritual that all BangShifters live for, starting the thing for the first time. Since we only know the pure joy that washes over us when an engine we have assembled or modified actually runs we cannot even fathom the feeling of an engine you created from nothing but an idea firing up would give a person. These guys are hero level BangShifters and these last few videos below let us all revel in their triumph.
