There are so many bitchin cars at the 2015 SEMA show that it is hard to pick favorites, but there are cars and trucks here that certainly speak to me more than others. This is just a taste of some of the cars that really turn my crank, and by no means covers them all. In fact, there are at least twice this many that pop to the top of my head, but we’ll start with these. There are muscle cars, lowriders, trucks, customs, and more in this list and they rule at all kinds of levels. What do you think of my choices? Do you dig them? Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments section and see if your fellow BangShifters agree.
If this bitchin ’55 Chevy doesn’t turn your crank, we’re not sure what will.
Someday I will own a lowrider like this 1964 Impala Convertible. This one is almost perfect in every way.
The color, the stance, and the chop are what make this 3-window Ford awesome. The rest makes it spectacular.
Bob Boileau’s Datsun pickup may be my favorite in the show. It’s Bob’s first ground up build done all by himself, and it’s got Miata drivetrain, front and rear suspension, and more. With only 115 horsepower he’s kicking muscle car ass on the autocross and road course because he’s a certifiable bad ass in this thing. If he listens to me and gets more power and more tire under the next one everybody else is screwed.
If you have to ask why this COE Chevy is cool then we would kindly ask you to leave the site and take up golf. Could it be cooler? Only if it were a ramp truck.
Danny Popp’s family C3 Corvette is epic in almost every way. The history, the stance, the power, the color, the fact that it can win almost anywhere with Danny behind the wheel, is what makes this thing awesome.
This Ford F100 Pre-Runner off-road truck is cool at a thousand levels. The turbocharged big block Ford under the hood is just one of them. Not a single person has walked by this thing all week and not turned to look at it at least twice.
There is something about the GoPro Colorado desert truck that just does it for us. Aggressive doesn’t begin to describe the look. If the performance is half as good then this thing should be a riot like none other.
Greg Thurmond’s Scar Corvette came to him as a shell that had once been a flared out drag car. It took a lot to get it to this point, but the results speak for themselves. Awesome looking ride with paint and bodywork that will have you drooling. It should be as fast as it looks when it hits the track for Optima’s Ultimate Street Car Invitational on Saturday.
I guess you can tell by now that I like the color orange. Always have, and this Ford is not only gorgeous, but also tasteful as hell. The wires and skinny tires are NOT my norm, but on this thing they work and work really really well. With a wheel and tire change this car changes it’s spots in a way that makes it a totally different car. This one is special.
Jesse Greening’s Ford T is really good. And the fact that it is his regular driver only makes it better. There is an indentation on the carpet where his foot sits when on the throttle, and bugs in the dropped axle still. It’s those things that make this car special and it’s a driver you can’t help but admire.
Big Caddy’s are cool. Paint one gold and you have elevated yourself to Super Pimp status. This one qualifies for sure. You know you dig it.
We have a soft spot for big Nova’s around here. This one is one of the more aggressive pro-touring examples we have seen.
nova is from rides by Kam in australia, and is driven a fair bit too
