Seized Engine, No Brakes, Sitting for 30+ Years! Will this Hot Rodded 1961 Corvette drive again? | Driveway Finds

After more than 30 years of sitting, this 1961 Corvette is getting some love! While it hasn’t been stored in the worst conditions, it has still been sitting mostly outside, and that is tough on stuff. But it’s a small block Chevrolet powered, all mechanical machine, so can simple steps make it a runner? Will it drive again? We’ve seen so many cars made to run after sitting for decades, but not all of them are easy. In fact, just because you get them running doesn’t mean they will run for long or run right. But I am sure they will do everything they can to breath new life into this epic machine.

I mean it’s one thing to try to get some old pickup running, but a 1961 Corvette is something truly special. A hot rodded 1961 Corvette is even cooler. Check it out.

Let’s see what happens.

Video Description:

A C1 Corvette is an iconic sports car, and this 1961 owned by Julian is no exception. However, due to over 30 years of neglect and sitting in various stages of disassembly it might be the roughest corvette we’ve ever worked on. The silhouette of an icon is still there, but can we get it on the road again and back to some of its former glory.
