Dyno Video: This Little Holden 308 Is A Stock Appearing Screamer And We Dig It.

The GM Holden 308 isn’t known for being some crazy powerhouse. It came stock with just 240 horsepower. But when this customer wanted to rebuild the 308 from his GTS he wanted more power but without changing much about the look of the engine. That meant it still needed the QuadraJet, the factory intake, and the original heads. With some tweaks and a custom camshaft, plus some careful tuning, this little beast made more than 100 horsepower over stock! Again, this is a pump gas original appearing combo, not some race engine built from nothing but aftermarket parts, and we’re pretty sure this thing will do some really good burnouts after this finds its way back under the hood.

Check out the video below where it makes some pulls, gets some fuel adjustments, and then a few degrees of timing at a time to see just how much power it can make.
