Last week we showed you video of a naturally aspirated LS engine making big power on the dyno before LS Fest. Many of you expressed your opinion of being sick of LS engines but James Forgan went a step beyond and sent us a great video that features a killer Ford 461ci Windsor mill being built from the block up and the run on the dyno where it produces more than 800hp. This is a bona-fide Chevy killer and it comes from an engine shop in Australia. The video is cool because we see the Dart block based engine come together from the ground up in what seems to be a really nice shop. The assembly room is clean as a whistle and the dudes really take their time and seem to know their craft when assembling this motor. It is one thumping son of a gun on the pump, that’s for sure.

Having spent a couple days at Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week, we’re super impressed with the guys in the naturally aspirated classes because they are really hauling the mail without the aid of anything other then good air…of which there was precious little during most of the week. Not saying anything negative about a power adder, just that it is extra impressive when you see a full bodied car run bottom nines with an engine that had no help of any kind.

This 800hp romper stomper is probably scaring old ladies on Aussie streets as we type this!
