When you think Magnum, you think big. So it’s only natural for everyone to have thought that big power numbers should come along with the Magnum 360 name when Dodge put them out in their trucks many moons ago. But they were only rated between 230 and 250 horsepower over the years, with 330-350 lb ft of torque. For the times it was where it needed to be, but those weren’t the times where horsepower dreams were created. After all, they were emissions engines with little bitty camshafts that couldn’t have made power even if they wanted to. But how much power do they actually make on the engine dyno?
