This 1957 Chevy Nomad Has Been In Storage For 28 Years, Can RebelDryver Make It Run And Drive?

The story behind this 1957 Nomad is kind of bittersweet. Man restores car in his spare time, his family hardly sees it, and when the car is almost done he dies. Suddenly. At a rather young age. The car is pushed into a corner of a garage and sits since his death in 1994. It was covered up and nobody in the family ever looked at it again other than the occasion glimpse at a fender or bumper. They couldn’t bring themselves to pull it out of storage. Until now that is.

With the most understanding attitude and respect, our friend Scott Liggett is making this thing a runner and driver again. Will it fire right up? Will it fulfill the dreams of this family? Watch.

Video Description:

The story of this 57 Nomad is somewhat sad. A dentist owned it. He was restoring it whenever he had time. He even built a two car garage attached to the back of his dental office so he could work on it in between patients. He had it almost done when he died suddenly. It only had 46 miles on it. That was 1994. It hasn’t moved or run since. His son felt it was finally time to get it back on the road. It was what his dad would’ve wanted. We are going to help do just that.
