If you have about half a million dollars lying around and you love station wagons and Elvis, we have the deal of the freaking century for you! That’s right kids, the King’s 1972 Cadillac station wagon which is claimed to be one of just two built (the other went to Dean Martin and has since been lost to history) is for sale and the asking price is hovering right around half a million dollars. We’re not sure how many miles that Elvis logged in this mondo Caddy long roof but we bet Col. Tom, Elvis, and the boys did cruise the mean streets of Memphis in the wagon and probably shared some fun within its huge body as well. The car looks to be in exceptionally good shape. We’re talking like factory clean, never flipping used shape.

Because nothing about Elvis was ever subtle or understated, the car was equipped with emblems made from 24 carat gold and wire wheels that were also gold plated to let the world know that it wasn’t just some chump driving what was basically a one-off, never before seen, 1972 Cadillac station wagon. Nope, those two things really let people know that something special was rolling by when the mile-long machine cruised on by. Let’s face it. Without the wheels and the emblems you’d never look twice at this thing, right? We’re kidding obviously because the big beast is one impressive looking battle wagon. Technically it is a nine passenger wagon but if you got creative, about 20 people could find their way inside this rolling ZIP-code.

Long story short, we think that the car is awesome but have no idea if the story checks out. What do you think? Sweet car but weird historical story? Is the whole thing legit? Is it worth half a million dollars? We’d just crank the hell out of some Kentucky Rain and go hammer down the highway!
